Examples

Welcome to the Examples section!

This section contains several tutorials designed to illustrate the use of the TI-89 or TI-92+ calculators in solving various mathematical/engineering problems.

The first section, Basic Tasks, is designed for the beginner. It follows every step with a screenshot, and guides the reader step by step towards the solution of every intermidiate part of the task.

The second section, More Advanced Tasks, contains examples that are lergely beyond the requirements of highschool mathematics, and is designed for early college requirements.

The third section, Advanced Applications, contains comprehensive tasks that combine more than one type of TI-89, TI-92+ usage. These tasks are field-specific, but do not require special knowledge in that field, because this section is primarily designed to demonstrate the power and versatility of the TI-89 and TI-92+.

This section should prove especially useful for those considering the purchase of one of these calculators (or frustrated HP users who wonder if the neighbor's grass is really greener).
